Dr. Julie Driscoll is passionate about creating healthy, beautiful smiles through compassionate, patient-focused care. A graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina, she was recognized with the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Student Dental Award for her outstanding proficiency. She further honed her skills as Chief Resident at UNC-Chapel Hill and through the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Residency Program.

Dr. Driscoll believes in a personalized approach, taking the time to understand your goals and remove any obstacles to achieving optimal oral health. Whether enhancing aesthetics or restoring function, her priority is delivering treatments that boost both your confidence and overall well-being.

Dr. Matthew Thomas blends advanced clinical expertise with an artistic eye to create healthy, beautiful, and confident smiles. With a passion for comprehensive dentistry and facially driven esthetics, he focuses on delivering personalized care in occlusion, Invisalign, veneers, cosmetic smile design, full mouth rehabilitation, and transformative smile makeovers. His philosophy centers on creating dentistry that is as functional as it is beautiful—designed to enhance both long-term oral health and natural esthetics.

Dr. Thomas earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry following undergraduate studies at Adrian College and advanced graduate education through a master’s program at Wayne State School of Medicine.

Committed to mastering the highest levels of dentistry, Dr. Thomas is Kois Center trained, completed Invisalign certification, and advanced his treatment philosophy through the Molis Coaching Curriculum. As a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, he has completed over 500 hours of continuing education, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to excellence, innovation, and precision in patient care.

Licensed in both Michigan and South Carolina, Dr. Thomas maintains CPR and BLS certification and is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Michigan Dental Association, Oakland County Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and Alpha Omega Dental Society.

Outside the office, Dr. Thomas enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time outdoors with his wife, including biking, kayaking, and golf. He also enjoys time at home with their dog, Todd, and cat, Merlin—who are very much part of the family.

Originally from East Tennessee, Charleston dental hygienist Delani Beam earned her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from East Tennessee State University. With over five years of clinical experience, she is passionate about building long-term relationships with patients and helping them achieve both optimal oral health and overall well-being.

Delani is dedicated to professional growth, regularly pursuing continuing education through the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). In 2023, she received the prestigious Emerald Dental Hygiene Award from The Team Training Institute, recognizing her excellence in patient care.

She values Charleston Dental Studio’s commitment to advanced dental technology and personalized, high-quality care. Outside the office, Delani enjoys baking, exploring new Charleston restaurants, and spending time with her husband and their two golden retrievers, Sampson and Watson.

In her free time, Charlotte enjoys traveling, taking Pilates classes, and visiting delicious restaurants around town. Kalyn is a Charleston native from James Island, SC, and a graduate of Charleston School of Careers, where she earned her Dental Assistant certification. With 5 years of experience in the dental field, she brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Kalyn is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and well-informed during every visit, and she takes pride in creating a welcoming, positive environment for both patients and team members.

She enjoys building meaningful connections with patients and strives to make every appointment a smooth, stress-free experience. Outside of the office, Kalyn loves kickboxing, baking, reading, and traveling to explore different museums, which allows her to stay active, creative, and inspired.
